Requiem

I watched Alien Versus Predator 2 (AVP2) : Requiem yesterday with OCS buds.
It was so bad... it was good. no wait. It was just bad.
I was very satisfied with it though. I do see the direction from which the movie was made. Since AVP 1 was so kiddy and tacky, they decided to bring the franchise back the 80s-horror-slashgore genre. I did redeem Alien ressurection and AVP1.
Well it worked. There were so much gore that it was really good. The infestation of the pregnancy ward... that was just nasty.
It was a really dark movie too. welll ... in terms of lighting. I supposed they were trying to go back the theme of evil lurking in shadows kind of thing. but when there is an mother overload of aliens... the suspense is lost. cause... who cares if the people die? hahahahah,
I feel good but I think it still sucked for a movie. Good fan-service for the franchise. but I do hope that requiem hints the death of further sequels.
